Iriomote Open Water Getaway

We are delighted to invite you to the Iriomote Island Open Water Swim Camp, taking place from 7th to 10th October 2025 in one of Japan’s most pristine and breathtaking destinations.

Nestled within the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa, Iriomote offers a unique blend of untouched natural beauty—crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, lush mangroves, and rich marine life. This extraordinary setting provides the perfect backdrop for swimmers of all levels to experience the thrill and freedom of open water swimming.

Over four unforgettable days, participants will enjoy expert-led swim sessions, technique workshops, and guided adventures in the island’s turquoise waters. Beyond swimming, the camp is an opportunity to connect with nature, build confidence in the ocean, and share memorable experiences with fellow enthusiasts.

Whether you’re preparing for a race, seeking to improve your open water skills, or simply looking to immerse yourself in an inspiring environment, this camp promises challenge, growth, and joy in equal measure.

We look forward to sharing the adventure with you on Iriomote Island.

Swimmers are responsible for booking their own flight to Iriomote, lodging on the Island (see below) and should make Ferry reservations each direction. Additional open water destinations will be discussed at the camp based on weather and enthusiasm.

This is our first time running a camp at this destination, we're running this at only HK3900 per swimmer, for a small camp experience to be able to focus on your specific swimming needs!
